I seek to find the place where representation and abstraction coexist. Using both my own configurations and images of constructed space, I create sleek surfaces that convey purity and refinement, while also creating the illusion of space on a two-dimensional surface. The ambiguity of the imagery invites viewers to project their own narratives onto the picture plane.

For many years, Pagano split his time living between Manhattan and Water Mill, Eastern Long Island . He recently relocated to Savannah Ga. where he lives and works.
